CONCEPTS OF NUTRITIONAL MEDICINE
|
Every facial feature offers a window to the patient's health. This cat has bilateral uveitis or inflammation in the anterior chamber of the eyes. Note his vibrant whiskers on the cheeks, but weak whiskers over the eyebrows.
Tabitha has lymphoma. She has chin edema from obstructed lymph nodes, brown psora (toxic secretions) seen on her irides, obstructed lacrimal (tear) ducts. Even the color of the tears offers clues to her condition. Her weak, flaccid whiskers testify to her struggle with cancer.
This cat had eosinophilic granuloma of his lips and poor response to conventional therapies.
He is making good progress after 6 weeks of nutritional therapy. He has less pain, is eating and feeling well again!
