This 5-year old spayed female cat was adopted as a stray. She was admitted for radiographs. We were forewarned that she gets irritable during exams! 

She was sedated but we felt she was more stressed than a normal cat. She vocalized and looked a little frantic upon recovery.

Bach Flower Rescue Remedy works. We love the gentle but effective way it reduces anxiety in some cats recovering from short-term injectable anesthesia. We occasionally see cats who are having a rough recovery from injectable dissociative agents such as Ketamine. Rescue Remedy calms them down with no adverse effects.
