Nutritional Medicine

Cold River Veterinary Center is a private practice that emphasizes a holistic approach to animal health. The veterinarians and staff at CRVC offer non-toxic cancer therapies, BioMedical Profiles, homeopathic remedies, glandular, vitamin, mineral, and herbal supplements. In addition they reach clients and veterinarians around the country through mail and telephone consultations.

Natural health

We use natural remedies to treat acute and chronic degenerative diseases in small animals. Treatment may include conventional vaccines and medications when they are more appropriate or effective. Clients and colleagues learn about the best ways to prevent disease, with fewer adverse drug effects.

Natural pharmacy

Cold River Veterinary Center maintains a pharmacy of small animal medications, medicinal herbs, nutritional products and natural remedies. Supplements listed in a BioMedical Profile treatment plan can be ordered by telephone and shipped from our pharmacy or picked up at our clinic.  

Alternative cancer therapies

The staff at CRVC has a special interest in safe, natural therapies against cancer. We use a wide range of oral, topical, injectable, and intravenous vitamins depending on the type and stage of the tumor.  Clients also receive information on advancements in chemotherapy, radiation treatment and surgery whenever they are indicated.

BioMedical Profiles

The BioMedical Profile is a system of nutritional analysis that identifies metabolic imbalances and develops an appropriate course of nutritional therapy to correct those imbalances. Organs that are under stress or diseased are identified, and a therapeutic plan is developed to address all the imbalances, excesses or deficiencies, simultaneously. The goal is to promote healing and return the body to normal function, i.e., to restore good health in our patients.
